Bongo Radio and FunkHouse Entertainment did their annual party in Chicago which included the performances by Wakazi and Gwaii, and also a Fashion Show by African Models, showing cultures of one of the local Chicago designers. Prior to the evening event, people enjoyed a "barbeque at the beach" event where everyone met and enjoyed the free treatment provided by the organizers.
